Motorcyclist dies after crash with SUV on I-70 westbound in Columbus
A motorcyclist died after a crash involving an SUV on Monday, Columbus police said. Police patrol officers were dispatched just before 7 a.m. to Interstate 70 near Fairwood Avenue on a report of a motorcycle crashing into a white Toyota SUV. The adult motorcyclist was ejected from the motorcycle on impact, police said. The motorcyclist was rushed to Grant Medical Center in critical condition, and died a short time later. That person's identity has not been released. The driver of the white Toyota SUV remained at the scene and was not injured. The investigation is ongoing.
