Motorcyclist critically injured, northbound I-35 closed after crash in downtown Austin

Northbound I-35 is shut down in downtown Austin after a crash sent a motorcyclist to the hospital with critical injuries. Austin-Travis County EMS says that the crash happened near the Sixth Street exit of northbound I-35, and that the crash involved a motorcycle. Medics reported that a motorcyclist had been downed on the freeway; that person, an adult patient, was taken to Dell Seton Medical Center with critical injuries.
