Motorcycle crash in Dodge County injures rider severely
A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a late-night crash in Dodge County on Aug. 22. The Dodge County Sheriff's Office responded to a motorcycle accident just before midnight on County Highway CW in the Town of Emmet, east of Watertown. The incident involved a 2006 Harley-Davidson motorcycle that veered off the road and hit a telephone pole. The rider, a 42-year-old man from Oconomowoc, was ejected from the motorcycle and found by a passerby. He was taken to Watertown Regional Medical Center and later airlifted to Aurora Medical Center Summit for treatment of severe injuries. The driver's identity has not been disclosed as investigations are ongoing.
