Montana reopens after crash involving motorcycle
UPDATE: All lanes along Montana Avenue at Tierra Este have reopened after being closed for several hours after a crash involving a vehicle and motorcycle, the Texas Department of Transportation reported at about 4 p.m. Saturday. EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) -- All lanes along Montana Avenue at Tierra Este are closed after a crash involving a motorcycle and a vehicle Saturday morning, May 16 in far East El Paso, according to the El Paso Police Department. The call for crash came in shortly after 8:45 a.m. and one person was taken to a hospital, EPPD said. A spokesperson with El Paso Fire said, one person was transported with non-life threatening injuries (code 1). EPPD's Special Traffic Investigations unit has been called to the scene. STI is called to investigate serious traffic related incidents. The Texas Department of Transportation said all lanes on US62/180 Montana at Tierra Este are closed. Traffic is backed up to Joe Battle and clearing time is until futher notice.
