Mild injuries following car accident in Holyoke intersection
The Holyoke Fire Department responded to a two-car motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Lyman and Main Street on Thursday morning. Captain David Rex reported that a small SUV had overturned with two occupants trapped inside, while the other vehicle involved was a school van. The occupants were successfully extricated using struts and the Jaws of Life. Thankfully, only minor injuries were sustained by four individuals who were assessed at the scene. A child in the school van was unharmed. The cause of the accident remains unknown as Holyoke Police Department conducts an investigation.
