Manhunt for driver in deadly hit-and-run crash
Tampa police are currently seeking the driver responsible for a fatal hit-and-run incident in Grant Park on Monday evening. The tragic event occurred around 8 p.m. when a female pedestrian in her mid-40s was struck by a vehicle traveling south on North 50th Street near East 30th Avenue. The driver of a gray SUV fled the scene without offering assistance, leaving the woman on the road. Subsequently, she was struck by another vehicle whose driver promptly stopped, called 911, and cooperated with law enforcement. The woman's identity has not been disclosed by authorities.
