Editor's note: The video above aired on Oct. 17. WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — A man was sentenced to more than four years in the Kansas Department of Corrections on Thursday. Brian Adrian got 55 months in prison for vehicular homicide and aggravated battery while driving under the influence. He pleaded guilty in March. Wichita police said the crash happened in south Wichita in October. Officers said Adrian was driving a sedan on Seneca Street and tried to turn left onto 42nd Street. Bryce Rowland, 27, was driving a motorcycle on Seneca in the opposite direction and was hit by Adrian, throwing him off the bike, according to an affidavit. The driver of another vehicle swerved to avoid the motorcycle but didn't see Rowland in the road in time, accidentally running him over. Adrian's blood alcohol content level was twice the legal limit, court documents say.
