Man from Fairfax County identified in deadly collision in Loudoun County.

A tragic two-vehicle car crash in South Riding led to the passing of an 18-year-old driver, Khalid Al Rakan, of Chantilly. The incident occurred at the intersection of Tall Cedars Parkway and South Riding Boulevard on Friday, June 6, around 2:15 p.m. Following the collision between a Volkswagen Jetta and a Nissan Quest, Al Rakan succumbed to his injuries at the hospital where he was taken for treatment. The front seat passenger of the Jetta was also hospitalized. The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office is currently conducting an investigation attributing speed as a likely cause of the crash, ruling out the involvement of drugs or alcohol.
