Man found in crashed car after 911 call dies, coroner says

A Belton, South Carolina, man has died a week after he was involved in a crash, according to the Anderson County Coroner's Office. Authorities said on June 13 around 8 p.m. they got a 911 call about a single-car crash on Highway 247 at Murphy Road in Belton. First responders arrived and found the driver, James Gregory Taylor, 66, suffering from multiple injuries. He was treated on scene and taken to Prisma Greenville where he died on June 22.Preliminary investigation shows that Taylor was driving north on Highway 247 when he crossed the center line and struck a ditch.The cause of death is multiple traumatic injuries, and the manner of death has been ruled accidental.
