Man detained in Bienville Parish following fatal solo-car collision

In Bienville Parish, Louisiana, a man has been taken into custody in connection with a tragic single-vehicle accident following suspected impaired driving. The tragic event occurred on December 6th around 10:35 PM when the Louisiana State Police were called to the scene of a crash on Louisiana Highway 155 by Toby Road. According to the State Police, Tanner Hill, a 33-year-old resident of New Port Richey, FL, was driving north on Highway 155 when his vehicle veered off the road and hit a tree. While Hill suffered minor injuries, his passenger Natalie Waller, 27, from Bastrop, succumbed to fatal injuries at the site of the accident. Further investigation led to suspicions of Hill driving under the influence, resulting in his arrest and processing at the Bienville Parish Jail on charges of vehicular homicide. The incident is still being investigated by authorities.
