Man dead after e-bike, patrol car collide in Pennsylvania

NEW CASTLE, Pa. (WKBN) - The New Castle Police Department is investigating a fatal crash involving an e-bike and a marked patrol vehicle in Pennsylvania. At approximately 6:35 p.m. Tuesday, officers were sent to the intersection of S. Walnut Street and County Line Street for a crash involving an e-bike and a Butler County Sheriff's vehicle. The operator of the e-bike, identified as 25-year-old Jaycob Heasley, was found unresponsive at the scene. He was transported to the hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased. Pennsylvania State Police are assisting New Castle police in the investigation.
