Man accused in deadly Whitefish collision enters not guilty plea
A young man from Marion, Andrew Sullivan, appeared in court in Kalispell for a fatal crash near Whitefish. Sullivan, 20, pleaded not guilty to charges of negligent homicide. The incident took place in August when Sullivan was driving a truck with two 17-year-old passengers, resulting in the death of a 17-year-old girl from Kalispell. Authorities found alcohol and marijuana containers in the truck, and Sullivan's breath test indicated a .057 breath alcohol level. Sullivan has a previous DUI citation from May. His next court appearance is scheduled for March 9.
