Madison Williams found guilty of DUI after crashing into home and injuring family
In Bakersfield, California, Madison Williams has been found guilty of felony DUI charges following a crash where her car collided into a residence, causing harm to a family and resulting in a toddler sustaining serious injuries. The incident occurred on September 14, 2022, when Williams' Mercedes-Benz C300 ran a stop sign and struck a house at Old River Road and Taft Highway before catching fire. Superior Court officials have shared that Williams' sentencing is set for December 4. During the trial, it was revealed that tests showed Williams had a blood-alcohol content exceeding two times the legal limit. Despite her defense attorney arguing that her BAC was below the limit at the time of the crash but increased afterwards, the prosecution led by William Mord contended that her intoxication level was significantly above the legal threshold.
