LRPD investigating fatal collision on I-30 Frontage Road
On May 17, the Little Rock Police Department began investigating a fatal collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian. The accident occurred at 2:24 a.m. at 8215 I-30 Frontage Road. When Southwest patrol officers arrived, they located the pedestrian, identified as 62-year-old David Wayne King. King succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The next of kin has been notified. LRPD said that at this point in the investigation, no charges have been filed pending a comprehensive review. The investigation is ongoing. KATV will update if formal charges are filed.
