Life-threatening injuries reported in eastern Iowa tractor crash

DUBUQUE COUNTY, Iowa -- One person sustained life-threatening injuries in a crash involving a tractor in Dubuque County on Monday. At around 5:25 p.m., the Iowa State Patrol, along with the Dubuque County Sheriff's Office and Epworth Fire Department, responded to a report of a crash involving a tractor on Highway 20 just east of Epworth. According to an ISP crash report, a Ford F-150 and a John Deere 9620RX tractor hauling an anhydrous tank were traveling westbound on Highway 20 when the pickup truck struck the tractor. The driver of the pickup, identified as a 64-year-old man from Dyersville, suffered life-threatening injuries in the crash. No other injuries were reported. An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
