Left-turn crash on Lantana Road leaves one dead, two injured
A left turn on Lantana Road turned deadly Sunday morning when a Lake Worth Beach woman drove into the path of an oncoming BMW. According to a crash report from the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office , the crash happened around 11:05 a.m. Sunday in the 3100 block of Lantana Road. Deputies say 52-year-old Marbelia Espinoza, of Lake Worth Beach, was traveling westbound on Lantana Road when she attempted to turn left onto an access road. The impact sent both vehicles off the roadway and into a grassy area. Espinoza was pronounced dead at the scene from injuries sustained in the crash, according to deputies. Authorities said the two occupants inside the BMW suffered minor injuries.
