Lawsuit filed against ex-NFL player Terrelle Pryor for Pittsburgh collision.
Former NFL player and Jeannette native, Terrelle Pryor, is facing lawsuits following a crash earlier this year in Pittsburgh's South Side Flats. The accident occurred on May 31, when Pryor allegedly ran a red light and collided with another vehicle while speeding in his Tesla Cybertruck. The impact caused injuries to three occupants in the other car, a Nissan Rogue, which was flipped and pinned against a traffic light post. The lawsuits claim that Pryor was uninsured for the Cybertruck. The plaintiffs are seeking damages for reckless driving and are requesting a jury trial. The case was referred to the district attorney's office, but no charges have been filed yet. Pryor's career, which started brightly at Jeannette High School and Ohio State, has been characterized by ups and downs, with legal issues arising since his time in the NFL.
