Lancaster County deputies identify victim of fatal crash east of Lincoln

A 61-year-old man died after a crash east of Lincoln on Monday afternoon, according to the Lancaster County Sheriff's Office.Around 12:30 p.m., deputies and Eagle Fire & Rescue personnel responded to a two-vehicle crash in the area of 162nd and O streets, authorities said.Investigators said a 2007 Ford Focus, driven by Thomas Heath, was traveling eastbound on O Street, when he drifted into the westbound lane, colliding with a 2017 Chevrolet Equinox, driven by 32-year-old Yaniel Munoz-Chember.Heath was taken to a local hospital, where he died from his injuries, according to the Lancaster County Sheriff's Office.
