Kansas crash claims life of 16-year-old boy
A tragic accident occurred on Tuesday evening in Basehor, Kansas, where a 16-year-old teenager lost his life after being struck by a truck at a highway crossing. The incident involved Cody L. Lamping, who was driving a Toyota car and ran a red light, colliding with a pickup being driven by a 68-year-old man traveling at high speed. Lamping was taken to Providence Medical Center but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries. The driver of the truck sustained minor injuries in the collision, as reported by the Kansas Highway Patrol.
