Kane County authorities ID Geneva woman killed in car crash Saturday night
GENEVA, Ill. — Kane County authorities have identified the woman killed in a head-on collision Saturday night in west suburban Geneva. The Kane County Coroner's Office says Mary Wilbur, 71, of Geneva was the lone fatality in the crash on Randall Road near Fargo Boulevard. The Coroner's Office says it received a call from the Geneva Fire Department around 9:45 p.m. Saturday reporting the head-on collision. According to the Coroner's Office, an autopsy performed Monday determined Wilbur's fatal injuries were consistent with a car crash, pending toxicology. The investigation is ongoing.
