James River Freeway and U.S. 65 closed due to traffic accident
UPDATE 10:00 AM - MoDOT has confirmed that both lanes of the southbound on-ramp to U.S. 65 are now open. Early on Monday morning, a vehicle accident on James River Freeway and U.S. 65 was causing traffic delays. The accident led to the temporary closure of the southbound on-ramp from James River Freeway to U.S. 65. The left lane has been reopened by SPD, but there is currently no estimated time for full lane reopening. According to SPD, a semi truck and trailer went off the southbound ramp and flipped onto its side, with no injuries reported. Crews are waiting for another truck and trailer to remove the load from the overturned trailer. Ozarks First will provide further updates as more information becomes available.
