ISP: All lanes of I-69 SB in Fishers closed due to reported fatal crash
HAMILTON COUNTY, Ind. -- A fatal crash has caused the closure of all lanes of a portion of I-69 in Fishers on Thursday morning. The crash occurred near the 205-mile marker on I-69 southbound on Thursday morning, according to the Indiana Department of Transportation. This reportedly occurred between IN 37 and old IN 238. Officials with the Indiana State Police said this is a reported vehicle-versus-pedestrian crash. All lanes of I-69 southbound in the area are closed. Officials with INDOT stated there is one reported fatality. Southbound traffic is being diverted to exit 205, the 116th Street exit. Officials with the Fishers Police Department said that the impacted portion of I-69 southbound is expected to be "likely shut down through the morning rush hour." "Please find an alternate route and avoid the area," the department said in a post on social media. This story will be updated as more information becomes available.
