ISP: 250 grams of drugs found in Worthington man’s car

LOOGOOTEE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Police in Martin County said around 250 grams of drugs were found in the vehicle of a Worthington man involved in a three-car accident. Indiana State Police said the accident happened Sunday morning on U.S. 231 in Loogootee. While on the scene of the accident, troopers spoke with the driver of one of the vehicles, Curtis Crisp, who allegedly showed signs of impairment. During a search of a backpack belonging to Crisp, police said troopers located around 250 grams of marijuana and other drugs. A juvenile passenger was also in the vehicle with Crisp when the accident happened. Crisp was then transported to Martin County Jail, where police said more marijuana was located on Crisp. Crisp is charged with operating while intoxicated (with minor passenger), neglect of dependent, possession of a legend drug, dealing marijuana, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and possession of marijuana.
