Iowa teenager dies in head-on collision in Jefferson County
A tragic incident occurred in Jefferson County, Iowa, as a 17-year-old driver lost their life in a head-on collision. The other driver involved was airlifted to Iowa City for medical treatment. The collision took place on Packwood Road, about 12 miles northwest of Fairfield. The crash involved a Toyota Camry driven by Ava Ford and a Dodge Ram pickup truck driven by Clinton Weaver. Ava Ford, the young driver, unfortunately passed away, while Clinton Weaver was injured and taken to the University of Iowa Hospitals. The cause of the crash is still under investigation by the Iowa State Patrol.
