Investigation underway into fatal motorcycle accident in Lincoln
Lincoln police are currently looking into a crash that resulted in the death of a motorcyclist. The incident took place near 90th and Adams streets at approximately 5:30 p.m. on Sunday. According to officers, a 21-year-old motorcyclist was making a turn when an SUV collided with them. Speed is believed to have played a role in the collision. The SUV driver underwent voluntary evaluation by the LPD Drug Recognition Expert, and no impairment was suspected on site. The investigation is still ongoing.
