Investigation underway for severe North Druid Hills Road crash
A pedestrian was seriously injured in a vehicle collision that occurred early Wednesday morning at the intersection of North Druid Hills Road and Executive Park Drive. The victim, a 27-year-old man, was struck by a white Subaru while he was outside of a crosswalk. Despite initial efforts for life-saving measures, the victim was pronounced deceased after being transported to Grady Memorial Hospital with life-threatening injuries. The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators. Brookhaven Police expressed their condolences to the victim's family and reassured that a thorough investigation is underway by the Traffic Safety Unit to review the circumstances of the incident.
