Investigation underway for deadly crash in Hampton
Police in Hampton are currently looking into a deadly crash that took place on Tuesday afternoon on Mercury Boulevard. The incident occurred around 3:18 p.m. when a vehicle traveling westbound on Mercury Boulevard collided with two other vehicles from behind. This caused the vehicle to come to a halt in the eastbound lanes of West Mercury Boulevard. Sadly, one individual lost their life at the scene, while another was transported to the hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening. A third person received medical attention at the site of the accident. The authorities are continuing to investigate the incident.
