Investigation ongoing: Fatal hit-and-run on 210 Freeway in Altadena
California Highway Patrol officers are currently investigating a fatal hit-and-run incident in Altadena from last December. The crash occurred on the eastbound lanes of the 210 Freeway near Lowell Avenue around 1:20 a.m. According to authorities, a Nissan Pathfinder lost control after being hit by another vehicle, causing it to overturn and collide with a guardrail. As a result, a passenger was ejected onto the freeway and subsequently hit by another vehicle before law enforcement arrived on the scene. The victim has not been publicly identified yet. Witnesses are urged to contact CHP Altadena Area Officer Gamlet Petrosyan at (626) 296-8100 with any information regarding the incident.
