Investigation of fatal Laplace multi-vehicle collision in Louisiana
A 19-year-old individual tragically passed away following a collision in LaPlace as reported by Louisiana State Police. The incident occurred shortly before 2:30 a.m. on November 1st, involving three separate crashes in close proximity on I-10 east near US 51. The initial crash involved a Nissan and a Honda, leaving the Honda disabled in the road. Subsequently, a Charger collided with the stationary Honda. The passenger in the Charger, Ferguson, exited the vehicle and was struck by another Charger before emergency responders arrived. Ferguson sustained serious injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital, where he passed away on November 6. The authorities are continuing their investigation into this tragic event.
