Investigation into potential water-related incident near Johnstown
Authorities conducted a search for a possible crash near a retention pond in Weld County, but did not find any vehicles. The Front Range Fire Rescue and the Johnstown Police Department were involved in the investigation at the Johnstown Ready Mix Plant. Despite efforts by dive and drone teams, no vehicle was located in the pond. The area remained closed to traffic during the search. The purpose of the search remains unclear, although it was noted that the retention pond was near the location where a 20-year-old woman was last seen recently. It is currently uncertain if these two incidents are related.
