Investigation into deadly 2-car collision in Carlisle Township by Ohio State Highway Patrol

The Ohio State Highway Patrol's Elyria Post is looking into a fatal two-car collision that occurred in Lorain County on Friday afternoon. The incident, which resulted in the death of a 71-year-old woman from Burbank, took place on State Route 301 in Carlisle Township. The OSHP reported that the crash involved a black 2004 Chrysler PT Cruiser and a black 2025 Ford F-350. The driver of the Chrysler, a 63-year-old from Burbank, was seriously injured and taken to UH Elyria Hospital. Meanwhile, the driver of the Ford, a 46-year-old man from Wellington, sustained minor injuries, and a 55-year-old passenger from Creston was unharmed. The OSHP stated that their investigation into the incident is ongoing.
