Investigation into Air India Crash: Process and Duration.

A tragic Air India plane crash resulting in the loss of 229 passengers and 12 crew members is being described as a "mystery" by experts. The flight, bound for Gatwick and carrying 53 Britons, crashed shortly after take-off from Ahmedabad airport in western India on June 12. Only one person survived, with additional casualties on the ground. CCTV footage of the crash has raised more questions than answers, and investigators from India's Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) are analyzing this footage along with other evidence from the crash scene. They are also focused on retrieving the black boxes containing crucial data about the flight. The investigation is being conducted with assistance from the UK, the US, and Boeing officials, with anti-terror squads participating as well. While several theories, including a potential bird strike, have been considered, officials stress that any conclusions at this stage are speculative. The investigation process, which involves meticulous analysis of data and evidence, may take considerable time to determine the root cause of the crash.
