Investigation initiated for fatal Bloomfield Hills motorcycle accident
A speeding motorcycle crash led to the tragic death of the rider in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan on Sunday, according to local police. Chief Jeff King expressed relief that there were no other injuries or fatalities resulting from the unsafe behavior. The incident occurred near Woodward Avenue and Hickory Grove Road. The motorcyclist was traveling at high speed and evaded a police stop, resulting in a collision with another vehicle at an intersection. Despite efforts by emergency responders, the motorcyclist succumbed to injuries at the scene. The occupants of the other vehicle involved were unharmed. The Bloomfield Hills Department of Public Safety is collaborating with the South Oakland County Crash Investigation Team on the case.
