TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. -- A reported fatal crash has caused the closure of I-65 near Lafayette. According to the Indiana Department of Transportation, multiple lanes of I-65 northbound and southbound are closed near the 164-mile marker. This is south of Lafayette. Officials said the closure was due to a crash "with one confirmed fatality." INDOT officials stated that the Indiana State Police Lafayette post is responding to the crash.
