Independence police investigate deadly crash with 3 cars
The Independence Police Department is currently looking into a tragic three-vehicle collision that took place on Friday afternoon at the junction of Missouri 291 Highway and Gudgell Road. A 2008 Nissan Pathfinder driving southbound rear-ended a 2019 GMC Acadia, causing it to collide with a 2009 Honda Civic. Sadly, the Nissan driver was pronounced deceased. The drivers of the GMC Acadia and Honda Civic were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
