IMPD reports shooting and crash with casualties
A fatal shooting and a related car crash occurred on the north side of Indianapolis early Sunday morning, leading to one death and one injured individual. The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department responded to the incident just before 2:30 a.m. in the 6200 block of Meridian Street West Drive. An individual with gunshot wounds was found and later succumbed to their injuries in the hospital. Another person suffered minor injuries in a crash during the altercation between individuals in two vehicles.
