Images released from fatal Thanksgiving Eve Piedmont Cybertruck collision
New information has been released regarding the tragic Thanksgiving Eve Cybertruck accident in Piedmont, where three young individuals lost their lives. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) has shared footage and images from the scene, revealing that moments before the crash on Nov. 27, the Cybertruck was seen speeding through a residential area in Piedmont. The driver, identified as Soren Dixon, was unable to navigate a curve in the road on Hampton Road, causing the vehicle to veer off and collide with a tree, leading to a fiery impact. Along with Dixon, two passengers, Jack Nelson and Krysta Tsukahara, also lost their lives due to smoke inhalation and burns. According to CHP's investigation, a witness who was following the victims' car described the events leading up to the accident, including attending a nearby party and picking up the Cybertruck. One of the passengers, Jordan Miller, was rescued from the burning vehicle with the help of a bystander who used a tree branch to break the window. It was determined by CHP that a combination of substances such as alcohol and drugs, along with excessive speed, contributed to the driver losing control of the vehicle and colliding with the tree. Photos from CHP show the severe damage caused by the crash, with the tree visibly piercing through the crushed hood of the truck.
