Identity of person killed in Hoosick crash on Route 7 revealed

Authorities in Hoosick, N.Y. have identified the victim of a deadly car crash that occurred at the junction of State Routes 7 and 22. The incident, which involved two vehicles, happened on June 4 at approximately 10:30 a.m. According to the New York State Police, a Honda sedan traveling north on Route 22 attempted to make a westward turn onto Route 7 when it collided with a Mazda sedan heading east on Route 7. Both drivers sustained leg and hip injuries and were transported to Albany Medical Center for treatment. Unfortunately, Claire Boyer, 84, a passenger in the Honda, was pronounced dead at the scene despite emergency responders' efforts. The investigation into the crash remains ongoing.
