Identity of Harjinder Singh, driver in deadly Florida truck crash - Hindustan Times

A recent truck accident in St. Lucie County, Florida, resulted in the tragic loss of three lives. Harjinder Singh has been identified as the driver responsible for the crash, as reported by Fox 13. Authorities have issued a criminal arrest warrant for Singh, who will face deportation after the legal proceedings. Singh was found to have entered the US unlawfully by crossing the Mexico border in 2018 before obtaining a Commercial Driver's License in California. The accident occurred due to Singh's reckless driving behavior, which included attempting a U-turn in an unauthorized area. The Florida Dept. of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (FLHSMV) confirmed that the three occupants of the mini-van lost their lives as a result of Singh's actions. In response to the incident, social media has expressed outrage over the fact that Singh was an illegal immigrant and was able to attain a commercial driver's license. The Florida Highway Patrol, led by executive director Dave Krener, declared their commitment to holding individuals accountable for endangering others, with Singh currently facing vehicular homicide charges as well as immigration violations. Upon conclusion of the legal proceedings, Singh will be deported. The online community has been vocal in demanding justice for the victims and scrutinizing the regulatory loopholes that allowed Singh to operate a commercial vehicle despite his immigration status.
