Identification of teenager involved in deadly O.C. collision, with others sustaining critical injuries.
Authorities have disclosed the identity of a 16-year-old driver who tragically lost her life in a traffic accident in Dana Point. The victim, Rebecca Cespedes from Dana Point, was operating a pickup truck that collided with a tree on Tuesday morning on Dana Point Harbor Drive near Island Way, according to Sgt. Gerard McCann from the Orange County Sheriff's Department. Unfortunately, the driver passed away at the scene, and her five passengers, all students at Dana Hills High School, were transported to a nearby hospital. Of the passengers, a girl and two boys are in critical condition, while two other teens, a boy, and a girl, sustained minor injuries, as detailed by McCann.
