Identification of deceased driver in SUV crash near Adams Center by NYSP
In an incident near Adams Center, a driver of an SUV, identified as Heather Jones of Dexter, tragically lost her life due to injuries sustained in a crash. The accident took place late Wednesday on Route 177 in Jefferson County, as confirmed by the New York State Police. The initial findings suggest that Jones, 38, was driving a 2011 Ford Expedition heading west on State Route 177. Reports indicate the vehicle veered off the road, hitting a culvert, flipping over multiple times, hitting a mailbox, and eventually catching fire. Sadly, Jones was pronounced dead at the crash site. The State Police are currently investigating the details of the incident.
