Identification of 4 victims in Ybor City crash
The identities of the four individuals who lost their lives in a tragic high-speed collision in Ybor City were revealed in legal documents on Monday. The crash, involving a speeding vehicle driven by 22-year-old Silas Sampson, resulted in the deaths of Christina Richards, Lisa Johnson, Sherman Jones, and Marlon Collins, who were among the pedestrians struck by the car. Three individuals died at the scene, while one passed away later in the hospital. In addition to the fatalities, thirteen people were injured, with two in critical condition. Although there has been no recent update on the condition of the injured victims, two have been discharged from the hospital. Sampson is currently in custody at the Hillsborough County Jail and is awaiting his pretrial detention hearing on Thursday.
