Identification of 3 teens killed in deadly Pompano Beach crash by Broward officials.

The Broward Sheriff's Office has confirmed the identities of the three teenagers who lost their lives in a serious collision involving two vehicles in Pompano Beach on Monday night. The victims have been identified as Richard Manuel Alcocer, 18, Miguel Montez, 16, and Ruben Baltazar, 15. The tragic incident occurred when the vehicle they were traveling in collided with another vehicle, then crashing into a bus stop, concrete light pole, and a tree. The authorities received reports of the crash shortly before 7 p.m. in the 1600 block of North Federal Highway in Pompano Beach. Investigations revealed that the driver of a 2024 Acura Integra merging south from a shopping plaza turned into the path of a 2014 white BMW M5 heading south on North Federal Highway. The driver of the BMW, identified as Alcocer, struck a median curb, causing loss of control, leading to the collision. Emergency responders promptly arrived at the scene to free the teenagers from the vehicle and transport them to Broward Health North, where they were tragically pronounced deceased. Authorities are investigating the incident further, with excessive speed being considered as a potential factor in the crash.
