Identification of 25-year-old victim in deadly accident
Authorities from the Plano Police Department have confirmed the identity of a 25-year-old individual who tragically lost their life in a late-night collision on Saturday at around 9:30 p.m. The incident took place near the junction of 14th Street and Los Rios Blvd. Reports indicate that a white Chevrolet Silverado was traveling southbound on La Paz Drive toward 14th Street when the driver attempted a left turn but ended up accelerating too much, causing the vehicle to lose control. After overcorrecting, the pickup collided with a wooden power pole, resulting in significant damage to the passenger side of the truck. The passenger, identified as Alex Rangle from Plano, unfortunately did not survive the crash, while the driver sustained injuries and was transported to the hospital. The driver's condition remains undisclosed, and their identity has not been disclosed either. Local authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
