MIDDLEBURY, Conn. (WTNH) -- Interstate 84 East is closed in Middlebury due to a tractor-trailer crash, state police said. According to Connecticut State Police, troopers from Troop A responded to a report of a crash involving a tractor-trailer on I-84 East in the area of Exit 16 in Middlebury at around 3:45 a.m. on Saturday. Serious injuries were reported and one person was taken to a local hospital. State police's Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Squad (CARS) unit responded to assist with the investigation.
