Homeowner unharmed after car crashes into roof: 'I had someone watching over me'
Over the weekend in Nashville, a car crashed through the roof of a home, resulting in two individuals being injured. The incident occurred around 8 a.m. on Sunday. Homeowner Jennifer Pittman shared with Nexstar's WKRN that the impact of the crash caused her entire house to shake, with the vehicle getting lodged in the roof and extending down into her bedroom. Fortunately, neither she nor her dogs were harmed. Pittman, who believes she was being watched over by her late grandfather who owned the house, mentioned that her neighborhood is prone to dangerous driving habits, and she hopes for safety improvements. Local officials mentioned to WSMV that the driver of the car, who reportedly broke their neck, is facing charges like reckless endangerment and DUI after hitting an embankment at a high speed before launching onto the roof. The car was successfully removed from the roof on Sunday.
