Homeowner miraculously unharmed as car smashes into Nashville residence: ‘I was being protected’
Two individuals were hurt when a car crashed into the roof of a house in Nashville last weekend. The incident occurred around 8 a.m. on Sunday. Homeowner Jennifer Pittman shared with Nexstar's WKRN that the impact of the vehicle crashing through her roof caused her entire house to shake. She was awake in her living room with her dogs when the crash happened, but fortunately, none of them were injured. Pittman expressed gratitude for feeling like her late grandfather, who previously owned the house, was watching over her during the accident. She highlighted the dangerous driving on her road and hopes that safety improvements will be made, as the area is known for risky behavior like using the center lane as a makeshift racetrack. The driver of the vehicle, who reportedly sustained a broken neck in the crash, is facing charges of reckless endangerment and driving under the influence. The car was successfully removed from the damaged roof on Sunday.
