Helicopter crash in San Jose injures two
(KRON) -- Two people were injured in a small helicopter crash near Reid-Hillview Airport in San Jose Monday morning, according to officials. The San Jose Fire Department responded at 11:39 a.m. to the crash on the southern side of the airport. Two people were on board at the time of the crash. One of the individuals has moderate injuries and was transported to the hospital, fire officials said. The other occupant was treated at the scene for minor injuries. Traffic is being impacted during the emergency response on eastbound Tully Road at Eastridge Lane. Authorities are advising the public to avoid the area.
