Head-on Collision in Fatal Highway 115 Motorcycle Crash
A tragic accident occurred on Colorado Highway 115 near Florence on June 1, where a motorcyclist lost control on a curve and crossed into oncoming traffic, colliding with two vehicles. The Colorado State Patrol (CSP) revealed that the incident took place around noon, involving a single Harley-Davidson motorcycle traveling eastbound. As the motorcycle approached a curve near Brewster Lane, it veered over the double-yellow line and struck a Chevrolet Tahoe before crashing head-on into a Jeep Grand Cherokee. The motorcyclist was fatally injured, and their identity will be disclosed later by the Fremont County Coroner. Fortunately, the drivers of the two vehicles involved were unharmed. CSP is currently investigating the cause of the crash.
