The incident occurred on March 5th at approximately 6:42 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch logs. Initial reports indicate that the collision involved a gray Toyota Tacoma pickup truck and a white Honda Pilot. The Honda Pilot reportedly veered off the road, breaking through a guardrail and plunging approximately 50 feet down an embankment. Emergency responders arrived on the scene shortly after, with units being dispatched at 6:44 a.m. The collision resulted in a major injury, with at least one person trapped inside a vehicle. CAL FIRE was promptly notified, and a rescue operation was initiated. The location was identified as having guardrail damage, though there was no impact on the roadway itself.
